I have tight coily textured natural hair that I straighten regularly. I have tried a tone of smoothing products over the years and I have never had a product as good as this. I have never used Goldwell products but have heard of the company. Honestly after the blow dry I was a bit skeptical but after the flat iron touched it...WOW! Super soft silky and lightweight hair. The smoothness and shine are out of this world. I look like I stepped out of the salon. Also, it actually does hold up and keep your hair straight. I'm on day 2 and looks like I just straightened it. This never happens to me. Just showering usually poofs up my roots. I will say I did use the matching shampoo and mask but I still think this product alone makes a HUGE difference. Use sparingly even if you have thick hair. You don't need a lot to get the effects and given the texture of the cream I can tell if you use too much your hair will be heavy and stiff.

If you are looking for a smooth finish something with a slight hold and just able to run your fingers through your hair this is the product for you..Its a translucent white cream with a velvety texture..I would buy tons of this If I could afford it..Its expensive.But worth it..I have been told that Goldwell is going to discontinue this product..WHY This is the best hair product they have...... I must mention..If I pay alot and order a product in the mail,of which I did,I should get a sample of a hair product.

I live on the coast so of course, humidity and curls do not work together- especially with fine hair. I straighten my hair with a blow dryer after washing and the minute I go outside here I have frizzy curls. This product actually works pretty good and keeps my hair straighter than any other product I've tried. If anything I now have waves in my hair when I go outside so not too bad.

I've tried product upon product of smoothers/straighteners. Most products leave either do nothing for my hair and it ends up frizzy or they do too much and my hair ends up oily. This product is a definate exception!! I LOVE this product!! It works like a charm!!! I will never use another brand of smoother/straightener again!!
