The brush doesn't require much powder and then goes on very naturally, sort of fluffy, not harsh. I find I don't use the stencils, but I definitely recommend the product because it is priced reasonably and the brush is worth it.

Select stencil that matches your brow shape, place stencil over your brow, brush color onto brow through the stencil and remove stencil and blend with brow grooming brush.
