I'm a 65 yr old lady with some gray hair, mostly in the frontline. My hair has been professionally colored at the saloon for years. I have a light brown tone with golden highlights. With the pandemic I started rethinking about going back to the saloon and using chemicals, so I decided to give this color mask an opportunity. I have used it only once and didn't covered the gray hair well, but the rest of the hair looks beautiful, completely covered, soft, shinny and smelling really nice! It was very easy to apply. I did the test first, as recommended, and then all the hair. No messy at all. It was like 10-15 minutes in total in my hair, since I started the application. Next time I will start in the front to leave it longer where my gray hair is more noticeable and see if it covers the gray hair better. Besides that, I like it a lot!

Being overly cautious I had a moorocanoil salon apply this. It does have keratin to be sure to leave on only the recommended # of minutes and no longer.
I have natural gray hair, and I had a few color lines from previous demi-permanent colorings like SHADES. The Platinum was excellent, adding shine and also blending those color lines to un-noticeable
These products last. They may lessen the first few washings, but it stays in the hair for several months. It is something to consider when using pink/blue. They are beautiful, and will last.
I plan on trying the rose gold. A purchase will last a long time considering it isn't necessary to reuse frequently, and will last as a color deposit for many washes.
My salon said they would have zero concern of me doing this at home on myself, if I adhered to the packaging recommended time of the mask on my hair.

Test it: We recommend doing a strand test first to see the level of color achievable before going all in to a full head of color. To do this, start by choosing a small section of hair to test. Try to find a section that's mostly hidden when your hair is styled. Separate off the strand and tie the rest out of the way. Apply mask on the hair and leave on 2"“3 minutes. Rinse. If the color is too subtle, try a second strand and leave on for longer.
Go for it: Start with clean, towel-dried hair. Section hair to ensure full coverage and apply a generous amount. Distribute evenly using a wide-tooth comb. Leave on for 5"“7 minutes, depending on desired intensity. Rinse thoroughly. Style as usual.
Pro Tip: For a pastel effect, mix 1/4 part Color Depositing Mask with 3/4 parts Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask to soften the color result.
