I swear by this product! I soak my scalp and let it run down my body & rub it all over ... what a MAJOR RELIEF! I also use the shampoo & acidifying rinse. I went to 3 different Dermatologists with no improvement. I will continue to use these products in the future. 100% recommend!

TheraRx - Scalp & Skin Wash

I thought I had acne on my scalp, but upon doing some reading and seeing some pictures, it looks to be folliculitis. I have very long hair, and the texture is very fine, but there is a lot of it. However, these persistent scalp breakouts are thinning my hair along the perimeter of my scalp. I tried Tea Tree Oil, mixed with Squalane, as a treatment used similarly as this product instructs the user- on dry hair before shampooing, and left the oil on for several minutes, but that gave me a terrible rash on my neck, even though it was diluted properly. Then I found this product, and after the second day of using it, the larger, hard blemishes are surfacing and going away, and the number of blemishes has greatly reduced. I got a little distracted by house work when I did it the first time, so the solution was left on for about 15 minutes before I showered, adding the shampoo to the scalp, lathering, and rinsing. I also used the product from this same line called Final Finish, which I used after my conditioner, root to tip, and left on for 3 minutes. It is so great to finally have found something effective. I also tried the medical wash Hibiclens before, but though it is also antimicrobial, it has a thicker, soapy texture and does not seem to soak in like this stuff, which is very fluid. I only wish this product came in a bigger size, as three applications has depleted almost half the bottle, due to my fine hair soaking up product, even as I apply it in rows while lifting the hair. If I had a pixie cut, it would last twice as long. I also use it twice a day, because my scalp is extremely oily and that is how often I wash my hair. Even if you use it up quickly like me, if you have scalp bumps, it is probably worth the $20 per 6-7 applications to use this. Maybe after a month, and spending $160 or so on this product, I can use it less often as maintenance. Reviews for this product on other websites have stated that things clear up totally within 4-6 weeks, and for me, it is going particularly well.
