This has no silicones and worked great on my fine and somewhat thinning hair. I've used it as a deep conditioner and it is not too heavy and doesn't weight my fine strands down. Amazingly it works as a leave in texturizer! I use it when I air dry my hair and emulsify a small amount in my palms and scrunch it into my ends. I get perfect beachy texture on my hair.
