    I have used Perfect Hold for several years and loved it. This new variety is definitely not as good as the original. It just doesn’t hold even if you use an excessive amount. Will not buy again.

    I have used Goldwell for many years, the perfect hold was so good. This new formula does not come close to performing like it use to. I have been trying to find a product that I can get volume and control but have not found one yet. So disappointed!

    I bought this hairspray for many years and loved it. However, they recently changed the product. It is like spraying water on your hair..it doesn't hold at all! Do not buy if you expect it to hold your hair in place. It won't hold for longer than 5 minutes. I will save you a lot of money and just tell you to buy Redken 32 based on my experimenting. I spent hundreds of dollars trialing hair sprays. Redken 32 holds like Goldwell used to.

    I bought this product because it was suggested (on the website) as a replacement for Goldwell's Big Finish 4 hairspray. However, this product is not flexible like the Big Finish hairspray. My hair feels more dull and I am unable to manipulate it once it is sprayed.

    I have been using this product for years. The new packaging is fine… but WHY did they have to change the formulation?! It makes my hair feel and look like straw. It provides no volume and doesn’t hold style in humidity like the previous formulation. I will be returning 2 of the 3 cans I purchased and looking for something new.

    This hairspray provides a strong hold without hardly any stiffness. It brushes out nicely without a film which is usually the case with firm hold hairsprays. It goes far since a light spray does the job. I can highly recommend as I plan to continue to use this product. My hair is very curly, so if I want to maintain a smooth blowout, this hairspray works!

    Got this for my wife and she's a big fan. Works great on her mostly straight hair to keep things aligned the way in which she needs it to be. She also has been using on our 2 daughters who also have been enjoying it, especially for "crazy hair days" at school. It just plain works, and for those reasons I'm in!

    This hairspray holds really well. Its scent it a bit on the strong side for me, but it dissipates quickly so it isn't an issue (and I find most hairspray scents strong). If you need something that'll really hold, this is good stuff.
