The product is better than a spray because I have more control of application. it doesn't cover the gray entirely but is decent enough. I would suggest perhaps getting a darker shade for more coverage.
To Style Edit your product is a bit drying and perhaps you can make
the sponge handle easier to hold. Good product. I would use again.

This powder is a lifesaver to cover roots! I used to get the spray applicators which work great and are super easy to use, the only downfall is they don't last very long. I decided to switch to the compacts and I couldn't be more pleased! I'll never go back!!! The compacts last for months and application is a cinch! I find it works best if you angle the sponge applicator on its edge and dap liberally.

Remove base to reveal the sponge applicator. Lift top lid for binding powder. For best results, apply to clean, dry/styled hair, using sponge applicator, sweep a small amount of binding powder over gray roots starting from the scalp and working outward. Re-apply as necessary.
