My daughter has beautiful long blond hair and loves to swim. Her hair was turning green and we tried all the swimmers shampoos and conditioners, ect....nothing worked. A website for swimmers recommended K-Pak Chelating Shampoo and after one use her hair was back to the beautiful blond color. I have also used the shampoo and love it. I had my hair highlighted recently. Ten days after, I noticed that the highlights were darker, duller and brownish looking. After some online research I learned that this dulling and darkening was caused by minerals and chlorine in my town's local deep well water.
I tried this shampoo and after just one use my hair felt softer and looked lighter. My highlights were bright again, just as they looked when I left the salon. Leave the shampoo on for two minutes.
The shampoo has a light pineapple scent. I think that the softening effect the shampoo has may also be due to the fact that it removes minerals. Mineral buildup can make objects feel rough and dry. The same might be so with hair. This shampoo combines really well with the K-Pak Conditioner.
